hey guys.. searched a bit and nothing is making sense to me still  ..

basically i have a 55watt light wich i will be mounting on the under side of my rollbar as a tray light.. i have made a new switch panel with illuminating switches.

On the back of the switch they have three prongs... power, ground, acc.

i want it to be able to turn on off when trucks off completely, so hard wire to the battery?

can someone help out a young fella, cheers :D

hey mate all u need to do is just run a wire threw a fuse to ya switch for constant power then earth it and run the other to ya lights but the illuminated light will always be on because its hard wired unless u run another switch to turn the power on and off to the illuminated switches
if that makes any sense

The light wont be on permanently unless you get the power and acc wires the wrong way round.

Call in next time you are up this way Chris, will only take 10 minutes to sort out for ya. :D
I think you'll find one prong goes to your dash lights and one is power from fused source, the third is to your worklight.
