Outer Limits 4x4 Board

Hi all i have managed to pick up a mk triton 5 speed manual box for free with 25,000km on it (long story but i got it legitimately) & i have a 91 nh Pajero swb with 6g72 engine i was wondering if the gearbox would fit into my Pajero as it looks identical,the gear ratio that is stamped on the side is the same as my car as well, does anyone know if this is possible. check the tech section, uve got the V5MT1 gear box, thats the same gear box outta my NG paj (which by the way needs replacing wheres ur source of free gearboxs) not too sure bout the tritons though so im unsure if it will fit
