Double toughs & air locker install

Any hints or tips or tricks on installing this combo?
Anything I should do extra while it's all apart?
Apart from carrier bearings and wheel bearings. Just recently did kingpin bearings so no need for those.
93 Sierra.

Nope it's a pretty straightforward bolt in, but you can't slide he DT's in though the spindle hole, you have to pull the knuckles to install them.

dont forget to change ur side gears to 26 spline ones, u can by them, from arb to suit the locker last time i bought a pair they were 80 bux.

They also come with a lifetime manufacturer warranty.
So do these apparently.
Maybe it was the older dt's that didn't.

I've got a spare sierra here that I can rip the side gears out of.
I'm assuming this will do the same job as theone's from ARB?

No, you will need to buy some 26 spline sidegears from ARB. They ar edifferent to the standard Suzuki sidegears.

if you buy a rear air locker don't these come with 26 spline side gears? We just installed the airlocker into a rear diff carrier and dropped it into the front diff housing.....

Then you're fine as the rear has 26 splines.

Received the locker and compressor today.
Been following a couple of other threads on the O-rings.
Varied opinions on which is better. I know Dank had issues with his.
So do I go get some round ones or use what ARB supply?
Theoretically the square should be better as they have a groove in the middle of each side therefore in a round about kind of way offering a double seal each way.
Any people with actuall experience between the two rings or first hand knowledge would be greatly appreciated.

Yes I did have issues with the square edged o-rings. They would seal properly the first few engagements then gradually started leaking further until it wasn't possible at all to engage the locker.
Sourced some vitron round o-rings from a pump shop as arb didn't stock them and since then haven't had any dramas with sealing issues. although I pulled the body off yesterday and found that the locker air line had melted apart as it had rubbed on the sump...
something else to fix...

Always, always go with the HD line from ARB. It's a gazillion times better than the blue hose.
it's $60 very well spent.
