Rear link setup ?

What adverse effects would removing the rh upper link, out of the rear of a surf rear have. Just trying to work out some clearance issues.

Remove it and see.. Remember to post pics to show everyone how much carnage you cause when your diff rotates and you crash into God knows what.

i heard it makes them flex better... but only at relly high speeds offroad.

Should have given more info. Top arm 90 degrees to the housing not angled as it would be in the surf. Links 2.5 times longer. Can I run only 1 upper offset to one side.

In a word ... NO

If you mod 1 need to mod them all (including the panhard) to keep the geometry right.

If it's a DD and don't know much about suspension setup, don't f%@k with it, find someone who knows !!
