Yep it would be good according to the spec sheet this thing has solid axials front and rear, is a bodie on rails construction (just like your 4X4), is equiped from standard whith portal hubs :shock: and has 225/75R16 wheels from standard giving a total ground clearence of 370mm not to bad for a van ay :armsup: and check out that approach and departure angles :lol:

the only problem is its leaf sprun and by the vid the suspension's a little harsh, But i guess it wouldent be a daihatsu 4X4 whithout bone cracking springs :lol:

1.0L GTTi machine with 101 horse power, and this car could be a excellent offroader.

It's actually a whole jimny engine - in Japan. I run a 660 triple in my sierra and it has plenty of power. It's all this van would need. It certainly wouldn't gain very much capability with 100hp (the 660 will have 67hp) - you're not going to be hitting anything at speed in that.

Don't get too excited though, it's only a concept.

With it being labeled as a "concept" and Daihatsu not being in Australia any more its a slim chance we would ever see one here :cry:

Still 34's, diff locks, gears and a turbo or supercharger would make it very cool I wonder what it would go for if it was released.
