Hey all.. i've been reading up heaps of info (by searching for it!!) relating to what setup i want to run in my zook, but cant find the answers!! Im looking at doing a SOA using lux diffs, and using the 3 hole spring perch (low range off road) on the rear diff (so the rear diff will go back 1"). Also looking at doing a RUF using the zook springs, and putting the lux fronts, onto the rear of the zook. Now, the lux springs are totally flat, and my zook ones are around a 1" lift. With these different springs, and doing the RUF, the overall suspension lifts (front compared to the rear) will be all over the show!! Can anyone please help with any ideas?? I would love to be able to move the front diff forward, and the rear diff back at the same time. Thanks heaps!!

i used hilux fronts all round and the ride height is dead even front to rear... with the load leaf removed the leaves run almost flat under the zuk - but its a BIG lift... including 31" tyres im 190mm over stock! (pics in the link below).

thanks for the reply mate.. With your flat springs, that would limit your up travel to bugga all yeah?? Seems like its going to be alot of "trying" with my set up.. fingers crossed!!

not at all... a flat spring means it travels the same distance up and down - providing theres room in the wheel arches for that travel that is, and the SPOA gives that room.

ohhhhh ok... shit yeah. When you did your swap.. you would have had to re-locate the mounting brackets yeah?? To allow for the longer springs?? And you didnt do a chassis extension or anything did you?? Thanks for the reply again

new perches and hangers all round, new perches on the diff, chassis extension up front, hi-steer kit, new driveshafts front and rear, new brake lines all round... its a HUGE job.

yeah, been thinking that.. be worth it though!! One more qtn.. You said you got new drive shafts.. just wondering, why didnt you use the hilux/zook shafts? I've read somewhere that with only very little work, they will fit??
