I think it be mainly the output flanges are different, If you want some measurements let me know I got a Jimny in the shed and the transfers on the floor and I got Sierra transfer back out well as you have read from the other thread. I tried to swap the shaft over from the gearbox to transfer over to my sierra and bot input and output are different. Mounts though look very much the same. from a close glance.....

Let me know

This company make a conversion kit.

If your keen on doing it yourself, from the research i've done it pretty much involves shortening the jackshaft, changing the flange on the driveshafts and adapting the VSS to the sierra t/case.

I searched through some old posts a while ago and came across some good info ;) , especially for the VSS. Just don't have the links handy.

What is the ideal behind this. You can get gears for the jimny. Would cost about the same as a conversion kit. A company is syd dose them too. Squik and other in the NSW suzuki club went that way.

Personally Rob, I think a sierra transfer case swap is a better idea than jimny gears, but each to their own.

Steve,
