hi all
I'm about to install a 4" lift in my LWB GQ. Now i've read that most guys extend the front bumpstops by installing 80 series bumpstops. Is this the best option? Is it straight forward bolt in? Any pics would be good
Cheers

extending bumpstops
could do something like this also.
Just got a bit of 100mm dia nylon cut to whatever size you need and drill a hole to suit.
Custom aftermarket bumpstops. This are really good but if ya can get a set of 80/100 series toyota bumpstops cheep they will do a similar job.
I am yet to see anyone come into work with bumpstops set up correctly so be aware of the relationship between when your shocks will bottom out (this should be checked with the coils out and the vehicle lowered equally on both sides not a ramp situation) and what the bumpstops will compress to. I think 80# once compress to roughly 60mm from memory.
Cheers
