60 series transfer case
Hi, sometimes my transfer case gets stuck in 4wd and wont come back into 2wd on my 60 series import diesel landcruiser?Does it just need oil or is it something else? Thanks
Most transfer cases will do this. It's because there is still load against the gears inside from the slightly different rates the front and rear wheels travel at due to steering. Try unlocking your front hubs before you try and pull it out of 4wd. It also helps if you are rolling slightly in a straight line in neutral or the clutch in.
Hope this helps.

4wd
I had the same problem on mine for years...then I realised the vacuum line was kinked and then it worked a treat. If you have the later model 60 then your 4wd system will run off vacuum, check it out.
