just looking for suggestions or recommendations to get my patrol cut into an extra cab in Brisbane or nearby. I tried looking in search but i really struggle with that sometimes.... Anyway if anyones had a good cut done at reasonable price (as in less than 8 grand) i'd love your suggestions. if you wanna email pictures and stuff that'd be tops too!

cheers josh

ok cool, who you got doing that?
cost isn't a huge problem for me, like i'm not looking to get it done for 2 g or something stupid, just want a nice, straight rust free extra cab!

they do an AWSOME job, but yes very expensive they will charge 14 or up for a full engineered factory looking conversion.

who have you got doing the job big rig? any idea of costs too? looking at having mine big enough to have the engel behind the seats
its kinda the age old question, everyone wants a straight truck but how much is too much.... dunno if i could bring myself to scratch a 10 grand cab cut! but at the same time i still want it to last atleast 10 years (i'm predicting i'll have it for atleast that long).

A mate and I are doing the chop under the supervision and instructions of a Certified Engineer, because there is know one up here that does the conversion.
When u said u wanted to fit engel fridge behind the seat ur going to be longer than a general extra cab, but we are adding another cab mount
each side to reinforce the cab and brace the rollcage at only 300mm.
We are looking at about $3000 Engineered, Painted and tray
If u dont have the motivation to cut it yourself best bet is getting someone else to do it, or reverse it into a tree and then u will have some motivation !!!

yeah your right big rig, she'll be a big cab! mates got one which fits a fridge quite well.
i like the sound of dinging it up to motivate me but yeah i'm really not a panel beater or fabricator, nor do i have the space. i'm gonna be filling the garage with crap when its at whoever i choose to do it anyway.
spotted the 2dextreme website the other day 98lux, good to see some time and effort towards such a site, shows proffesionalism which i like!
