Talk to Humphey on this board, or ShortyMQ, both are spring makers and know their game well.

Think you fit IFS rears in standard position and use 2" drop shackles to get the angle of the shackle.

You can get just the main leaf made in wodonga get it about 1 or 2 inches longer behind the diff and use a longer shackel. Its not the best setup but it works for ok flex. Getting just the mains made will cost about 80 to 90 each.

If you re-drill the main and wrapper on the IFS springs you won't have to change your front mounts(about an inch forward) as this makes the front measurement the same as the standard springs. This gives you more length on the rear end and all you will have to do is make some longer shackles (approx 8") to make them work properly. Re-drilling the leaves won't hurt anything as it is only about an inch so the original holes will still be clamped by the u-bolts.
Hope this helps,
Scot.

I know it is cheaper but I woudn't redrill the springs.
Just get some made.
As soon as you redrill the spring you create weak points imo

As i said, the original holes are still covered by the u-bolts and plates,so no weak point. As for drilling them a drill press with low speed and a good drill bit will go through quite easy.

like Shorty MQ said...

I've used a concrete drill bit in the press and plenty of coolant.
