ARB gave me a discount as i was a member of a 4x4 club. From there i haggeled them down some more.
Other 4x4 stores like Ontrack sell lockers as well try playing one off the other.

If you can haggle one place get them to write out that quote then go to the next ARB and say can you beat this? works great!
Dad did it when he wanted new plasma some bloke from work wanted cheap one so he went through the union shopper got best price possible, dad quoted it at JB HiFi and they gave him $200 of it

dont be so keen to jump straight into arb as TJM have pro locker/air locker,
check your prices, & also the service, nunda ARB is a good store, the owner (rodger) is great! his team all great too, except for 1 who really fkd me around with air lockers & compressors, if you go there & he tells you to go & buy spacers to sleeve inside your bearings, just tell him you want the correct locker, thats what this tosser told me to do,not being mechanical & not nowing anything different,I went to the bearing place to buy these sleves, when I informed them what I needed them for,the bearing guys said this was a very dodgy/bogus way of fixing the problem,& I should take the locker back insisting on the correct one, when explaining what I was told by the bearing mob, this sales manager got a little shity,& said that if I had baught the truck into there to have it done, thats all he would have done to fix it,,eventualy he got me in the correct locker that my bearings fited,,having great respect for Rodger & his team at nundah I thaught Id give the store another try,but this same tosser wrecked the whole ARB experience..so shop around & get the sort of service you want, & if you go to Nundah ask for rodger to look after you as its his store & he respects his customers.

I've found Westside 4x4 to be pretty good to deal with. I've had no problems so far. I've been in there from time to time getting various bits and pieces from them, and they generally do what they say they're going to do. (ie, order parts and have them the next day, etc).
Southside ARB have their moments. I've never bought anything off them yet, and don't intend to. They are very helpfull when they think you're going to spend thousands with them, but the moment you ask them to get off their arses and help you out sourcing an airlocker, for example, they buck up and aren't helpful at all. It's like they want it all on a silver plate.
I have dealt with Nundah, not with Roger though, so I can't comment too much, other than they have some young kid (I won't name names) who works their and screwed me around recently, making me drive 200 kays to get a part that he said they had when they didn't. They did give me a discount for the stuff around though.

Well today, i thought id drop into tjm at brendale, and low and behold they have been changed and are now trading Uv 4x4, arb assosiate.. Basically i got told tjm arnt doing lockers ay more, the bloke is still there but converted to arb. He was hanging shit on tjm lockers and sayin even b4 he was still tjm but would not recomend there lockers due to them being ' crap and unsafe' . So he said he wont sell me tjm due to this..and told me that he would not put one in his own car either.
Something about a blot being resessed but not far enuf, and would come out and smash the crown wheel ect ei blowning the diff up.
He also told me kim boltons tjm sponsored gu was in the workshop and had no diffs in it cuz they are rooted, dont qoute me but yeh.
So in the end got a price of 1219 supply, 1604 fitted. Compessor was the big one, new one, supply was 334, fitted was 499.
In the end i got him to go to 1160 for the locker supply only add the 385 fitting.. didnt move on the compressor but i didnt ask so he prolly will..
Basically they were great to deal with, very helpfull and so far willing to move on price.
What a mouth full
Cheers, Chris
