Hi Guys
New here, hello all
I was considering mounting a pod filter into the original air box of a 03 courier turbo diesel . Is there likely to be any improvement to air flow into the engine? I currently have the big barrel air cleaner. Have recently upgraded exhaust and installed a snorkel trying to squeeze the most out of the car.
Cheers

Stick a vacuum gauge behind the filter you've currently got.
If you end up with a significant pressure drop then it might be worth dealing with.

But airfilter mods are only going to affect the top end anyway. Your max torque won't change.

There's plenty of tech on here in relation to pod filters.

IMHO there will be more restriction due to the snorkel and its associated ducting than across the filter.

Most pod filters have poor filter performance. I'd stick with what you've got, or swap to a larger paper filter if you have the room (like a landcruiser filter or a donaldson cyclopac)

After reading all the teach associated with pod filters (and seeing how much visible dust they pass for myself) I'd stay clear.
