handbrake noise

has anyone had a drumming noise come from the handbrake of a gq. it only happens when the handbrake is on and the car is on a steep hill and i take my foot off the brake. its been happening for a while now and ill like to get rid of it cause its starting to annoy.

Have you checked the pads and shit inside the brake drum?

my 93 lwb dose it to i think its just the engine noise traveling up the cable

Yep.... Shoes inside the drum would be my first check...As Bogged already said...

the only drumming from the hand brake I get is when she hits me arround the ears!
