hi all, can anyone give me some advice on where to start looking for problems when the red turbo light on the instrument cluster of a bj73 is constantly on - where is the sensor etc? thx

My mates bundy had this light on when he bought it ages ago, I think he found out it was overboosting or something, when he rebuilt his turbo and did some other work on it, it never came on again, only the green on boost.

I always thought red was a turbo oil supply/pressure fault. Could be wrong though. I wouldn't suggest driving the car untill it's sorted out.
