What would this be worth ?

Post by mytrol »

Hi all,
I'm looking to sell my Nissan patrol and wanted to find out whta people think it's worth.
It's a 1999 GU patrol. 4.5l petrol
7 seater (rear 2 seats are out due to cargo barrier, I have them though)
185k on the clock.
Auto transmission
4" lift including front drop arms and rear trailing arms
35" mickey thompson baja claws with 80% tread (total of 5)
Cheezy racing rock sliders / steps
Bullbar
Warn 9000 pound winch
Lightforce XGT spotties
Front auto locker
Regeared diffs to 4.6
Rear storage draws
Cargo barrier
Tow bar
UHF with aerial on bullbar

I think that about covers it.
What are peoples thoughts on how much it would sell for.

Thanks for all your help.

Mark.

I was hoping for around the $24k mark. Is this resonable ?

Ok... so if I put it up for sale at $24k, most people would haggle the price... would probably end up selling for $22k. Would that be a resonable price ??? $22k ???

My opinion is its a litttle bit overpriced. Maybe the $20k ono sounds about right to me. They don't fetch anywhere near the td42 prices. I reckon it would be worth taking all the good bits off and sell them separately, would probably get more back that way. Heavy duty 4x4s are a bit of a niche market, to the right person it would be a bargain but to 95% of buyers it would look like its been thrashed off road even if it hasn't.

Just my opinion though. Good luck with the sale!

Modified 4bys fetch stuff all on the second hand market as you limit yor market by advertising a second hand modified 4wd. If you have invested some coin into mods, you would be better off selling what you can prior to sale.

I love reading stuff like this ... I am saving my exta 50's and 20 (cents not $)

I am hanging to get rid of my hilux and back into a big fuel guzzling GU...
