NM on LPG

Post by JimmyTheHuman »

I ma going to buy an NM Exceed, not for trails, but to haul the family and motorbikes around.

I want to buy the petrol version and whack it on gas.

Any ideas how these machine go converted to gas? I have heard from one LPG fitter that it goes great, another that he wasnt so sure.

Any ideas?

I did one last week with Tartarini injection.
They run ridiculously well.
I have not had one single customer that has been dissapointed with their conversion. But I spent nearly 4 days on that one (had to make the kit myself as there was no kit for the 3.5l there were only premade kits for the 3.8 ((which I have fitted also)) so I hand made everything from scratch then nutted out the wiring and then wrote the tune for it)
But it really did come up pretty awesome with a big increase in torque midrange compared to petrol it made it much more drivable at cruise speeds. And no power loss at WOT at all.

I am in Wantirna.

Oh and the reason those tanks are cheap is cause they are pretty crap.
I only use the best tank.... APA.
They make a specific bracketed tank for the NM's with a nice bash shield to go under it and seal the compartment.
