GQ Fuel Pump / Pressure

TB42E started pinging
So played with timing, replaced fuel filter, still no fix. Then bought a fuel pressure meter. Joined with T-piece just after filter. Ignition on, reading is 20psi. Goes up to 25 psi at idle, but drops to about 22 psi when reving the engine to about 3500rpm. Took it for a short trip. Under power over 3000rpm, pressure drops to around 20 psi. This must be wrong!
Anybody knows what the standard pressure should be? Where can I buy a replacement fuel pump, make/model and price plz?

Don't have the exact spec in front of me but usually around 32-35 psi ignition on engine off or with the regulator vacuum hose removed at idle running (same thing). Does the pressure drop with load at higher rpm? That would suggest the fuel pump, or if it maintains that pressure under load at higher rpm then the regulator is likely crook. You can crimp the return line temporarily with the engine running, after the reg. The pressure should go up to at least 45 psi as most efi pumps are able to create at least 3 bar or 45 psi, if it dosent the pump is crook or there is a serious restriction, I've seen corrosion in pre-filters in the tanks cause this with some aftermarket tanks.

I'm pretty sure it should be 30 PSI. Mine was running like crap but was still showing 26PSI.
I ended up gtting a bucket and and pointing the fuel line in it and put the ignition on. Normally u would expect it to squirt quite hard but it just trickled out. So i had reasonable pressure but no volume.
Anyway bought a Walbro pump off ebay for $90 and fixed my probs. Very easy to fit except i had trouble getting the tank back in on my own LOL

The pressure drops under load to about 20 psi. My guess is either pump or pickup filter picked up rust or dirt from the aftermarket tank (LPG fitted). Only problem tank is still half full, to heavy to drop. Maybe fill the wifes car...
Jimbo, which model Walbro pump was that? See some online shop sell for around $160. Need my car going asap, so will have to shop local.

I cant remember which pump exactly. I think it was a high hp in tank pump something like this

Interesting observation earlier this afternoon.... went out for a short drive / cruise with 1 eye on the fuel pressure guage. While waiting at a traffic light, I noticed that the fuel pressure meter "ticks" with the indicator going on and off. BINGO it is a power problem. I also noticed a slight drop with the headlights on and my again with my foot on the brakes!
Check the altenator charging at 14.2 volts, battery ok. Also noticed the right hand high beam not working over the last week.... and the car will not idle while on gas. Checked the volts to the high beam on the left, 13.9 volts, but only 8 volt to the right hand side. The right hand side also don't work even with 8 volts because there is not enough current. All this tells me that there must be something affecting only some of the circuits, like the lp gas idle circuit, the right side high beam and the fuel pump. I also noticed that after switching off the car, and back on again without starting, the pressure will slowly build to 42psi... but drops back to 28 after starting.
Ok, anybody have GQ wiring diag.?
