Has anyone done or seen this conversion?
Any how,
I'm doing it and it fits no problem, just have to widen the tunnel to fit the XL7/GV box.
Here are some pics.

				Welcome DRV11T
Your rig looks great!
What other things have you done/planned for this rig?

Not sure if anyone else has done this but their is a thread some where on this forum.
Well hope to hear how it goes.

i'm sure this is a spectacularly stupid question (

in advance), but what's that engine out of?

Where is the gear stick going to end up? That engine / tranny combo looks very long.
Unless of course it's an auto - then i guess you can put it anywhere.

Your rear deck looks good give us some more pics please.
It looks like you are going to have some sump issues there.
Peter.

I know the tires are back to front( only one wheel nut on too), at that stage i was seting up the position of the front diff, if u look closely their are no springs etc and the chassi is on the stands.
The g-box stick comes out between the old hole and the transfer hole.
I moved the rear diff back 500mm and the front forward 100mm that gives me a tail shaft length of about 1m
Motor/box is out of a suzuki XL7 2002 brand new (80km), jap import(

 ) 135kW
Other mods are:
MQ diff's
4 link rear
5 link front
14" coilover shocks (liam I will be making an order soon)
vit brake booster
GV rockhopper
patrol power steer
35" tires
custom radiator
twin thermo fans (on front of rad, no room behind)
3" body lift to fit motor

I think big steve was actually being sincere - it's like Baja Claws being put on backwards

when i get the motor going, having some problem with ecm should sort it out next week.
Then mount the coilovers, get an engineers report, blueslip, fill it up with fuel, then lock the hubs
