Has anybody mounted therir radiator on the tray of their ute. I have a turbo petrol comp truck and sick of getting dirt i the raditor. Just have a few questions. How much room did you allow from the cab to the radiator? How many and what size thermo's did you ran? If you used an electric water pump what type and flow? What did you use in piping to get the water from the front to the rear and back? Did you have any teething problems which i should look out for? Sorry for all the questions just want to get it right the first time. Cheers

I ran a second radiator on the back of my GU patrol TD42. I allowed 100 mill between the cab and the radiator. I only ran it to help the main one keep the engine cool as I was running a fair bit of fuel through the engine. Use a sealed cap on the front or blank the overflow because your radiator on the rear sits higher than your engine or main radiator. Thats about it.

where abouts are you located? there are comp guys running rear radiators all round australia and most would be more than happy for you to SEE how they have done it and in alot of cases tell you why they did it in a certain way and how.
have a look in the different events in the comps section and PM a competitor about their truck.

Thanks for the replies so far. I am based in Victoria so I will try and have a look around and see what I can find out. Anymore ideas or suggestions would be great.
