GQ TB42/ WILL A 4.8 HEAD BOLT TO IT

Post by maxtrax »

As above i have a tb42 that has don the head in. So i was looking at running a gu 4.8 head and injection system on my tb42 bottom end. my bottom end is rebuilt and i would like to save money on fuel and gain more power.

Can this be done or any other ideas?

Or is this just to far fetched....

4.8L head is a different head bolt pattern due to the DOHC nature, however, a 4.5L head will bolt on but you need to use the 4.5L pushrods
