go for 6" lift - 2" body 2" shackles 2" springs
change diff gears to 4.6 as the 4.3s load up the turbo and motor alot and exhaust temps double.
i run the above config:
35s

this pic def need that 2" body lift or you would be fowling on your guards big time in the rear!

You'll wanna run bigger offset rims if you go 2+2+2. Also 2" shackles only give you about a 1" of lift. But I run 2" springs and 30mm Body and clear 35x10.5s. Is kinda tippy though so remember to go out whenever you go up. My NA turns 35s ok. You do use 1st low alot though

I am running 15x10s in the images above - VERY wide offset. They will scrub on the rear guards under full flex...you need to run 80 series land cruiser offset to avoid this and get them tucking into the guards.
the snake racing shackles provide 2" of lift.
the turbo diesel exhaust temps will rise dramatically when pushing 35s...my egts went fro 200c at 100km/h on 31s to 420c at 100kmh on 35s.
egts up hill did not differ all that much when loading the motor up up hills.

7psi stock. with boost, tune and intercooler i will be running 14 psi and plenty of fuel good for about 80rwkw.
some say 10psi max with added fuel.

adding more boost will increase the air that goes into the engine but you need to adjust the injector pump to supply more fuel to match the amount of air

Hey Guys i also just got a 85 mq patrol hard top turbo. un registerd that im going to do up, i was wondering what you guys have done with the canopy, the one ive got has rust on all the window seals and looks like pretty bad, i dont think it would pass road worthy. i was thinking about taking it off and trying to get road worthy without it but i dont know if thatq will work

yes it will, well it should as the roof is removable and should have been complied with out it.
If they don't road worthy it argue the point, Its like taking your soft top convertiable in with no roof up.
