Outer Limits 4x4 Board

hey guys

i have an mq ute cab on gq chassis. runninga v8 and the gq gearbox. dilemma i am having is i need a speedo and the mq cluster is cable driven and the gq box has an electric sender. can i get something to adapt to this to run say an autometer or equivalent speedo?? Short of changing to a gq dash which looks next to impossible.

any help appreciated.

the MQ cab is the same size as the GQ, so the whole GQ dash should fit, with a bit of bracket mods, surely someone here has done it.

i looked at a gq dash and the heater lines and everything comes out in a different spot.

looks like the firewall shape is different.

would love to have a gq dash in it if i can but looks tough

i have a feeling the gq clustor would fit inside a mq dash pretty easily, or a gq speedo inside a mq clustor if you have the know how, if not i have seen a whole gq dash in a mq cab a few times apparently its pretty easily done.

Speco do an electronic programable speedo. Apparantly will run off the GQ sendor too.

does autometer do a speedo to suit the nissan sender??

is the sender the same as say a skyline unit?
