Slotted rotors worth it or not ?

I'm up for some new brake rotors on my cruiser, DBA do slotted ones, would it be worth while getting these or should I just stick with the stockers?

If you get on pirate 4x4 and look up the brake tech, there they will explain everything that you need to know about brakes.
From reading the article unless I miss understood it doesnt make a big difference using the modified rotors ie cross drilled etc. on a standard 4b.
Best reading that site before going ahead with anything.
