Surging TD42
At about 2800rpm I'm getting some surging. It happens on partial throttle setting and isn't consistent. Seems to clear most time at around 3000-3200. I have just replaced the fuel and air filters, and get the feeling it's the pump. A few others have also indicated pump issues so before I go and get the thing rebuilt I though I'd throw it out there and see if anyone has had the same issue, and what the problem turned out to be. I want to upgrade the pump to suit the turbo but I'm not quiet ready for that yet. Also what cost should I expect with a rebuild as I've never had to do this before?
