Outer Limits 4x4 Board

Hey,
I have a prob with the auto trans in my 80 series, it is the a442f behind the 1fzfe.
The prob is when in low range, and reverse is selected, it just stalls the engine, as if the trans is completely locked up and doesn't slip at idle. It is not so bad in 1st.

No prob in high range apart from it shifting a little bit harsh.

Try disconecting the main harness from the transmission and try it again just to make sure the conputer is not trying to energise the lockup clutch in the convertor in reverse

found the prob today, the line pressure control cable was out of adjustment, so it had excess line pressure.
