How much is it costing?

A mate has been quoted $12.5k to replace his exploded 3 litre. :(

It depends on what options you take and the price of the crate motors from Holden at the time. But i would think 12,000 - 16,000 should do the trick.

I find $16k a lot of brass for the conversion...

Specially when some people say they get out of it for under $8-10g's doing some themselves.

There's alot of variables to consider, type of Engine management you want, do you want to keep A/C? etc.
I'd quote between 12 & 16 G's depending on the variables.
