I have thought about going up to 17" but i cant see many 10" wide rims in 17", whats the go with a 13.5" tyre on a 9" rim?
I was just gunna stick to the 16" to keep as much sidewall as i can

why do you need 10inch wide rims?
You can get any size rims in theory..

I cant find any reason why not to buy 10s really, apart from filling the arches better etc

Priced the 17's, well there now ruled out, @ $200 extra each per rim, and $100 plus each extra per tyre
I have found a 16x10 rim i like and i think ill be stuck with my good old friend the claw in 325/80/16(37/13.5/16), ah well, wont be too bad!

I think you will stuck with them for a long time because most tyre makers are only going to my 37s for 17 inch rims and bigger. The new BFG KM2 is a good example of this , there new KM2 37s are only available for 17, 18 and 20 inch rims sizes.
