Outer Limits 4x4 Board

Hi there again, have a 10,000lb winch with a stuffed motor. A couple of 2nd hand winch motors are available for purchase, do most warne motors bolt straight onto a warne winch?
Mine is 12v, can i go to a 24 volt motor?
Does it matter what horse power it is??
Does anyone have one for sale or know where to get one at reasonable price.
Been quoted $600 for new motor but can get whole new winch with warranty for $700-$900. (not a warne obviously)
Do i have to go a Warne brand of motor?

go$the Warn 6hp - should bolt straight in. Hobzee has them on special at $495 delivered. 6hp will run a lot cooler.

go a warn, you can use a 24V on a 12V system, i am currently doing this, it just wont pull as hard as it could, and get the highest hp you can afford, 6 seems to be the base point now days
