rear to front conversion

hey guys
just took my hilux off the road
and im looking into doing a rear to front conversion
anyone got any tips hints or ways to do it

i think you can use the springs from a earl model 4runner but not 100%sure

yeah i got my old ones still in the garage
i got 2" ironman leafs on the rear
just need a rough idea on how to put them on

rears

you will need to remove the anti wrap bar above the front diff housing. you will also have to mod the steering, because the diff will move about 50mm forward, the steering will be put off. basically it will turn harder one way. maybe try shortening the steering arm or moving the steering box forward....up to you. And also the front hangers will need to be replaced for longer ones, you can knock them up yourself. i think thats about it....

This is the best way I believe to set this up.

1st Get cross over steering installed on your hilux. The standard push pull setup will give up after a while with flexy suspension.

With the actual suspension setup. Get dropped hangers 1-2" drop, 2" extended shackles, shock hoops, new shocks, extended brake lines.
