Aren't coily arms quite short and light duty?

The coil hats would make for a tidy job, i think they're a wider chassis on the rear??? allowing the hats to be inboard of the chassis?

No it wouldn't. They're short, weak, and the bushings can only be replaced with urethane that makes the bushing bind inherent in radius arms even worse.

LOTS of people have bent these arms, especially with higher lifts.

I think Vitara or Jimny would be better than coil sierra.

Or even Lada. Long light duty springs that are reasonably compact in diameter.

That's hardly a problem, the bushes easily outlast the arms. I found it's cheaper to buy second hand arms from the wreckers with decent bushes then it is to buy nolathane replacements anyway.

Really? I've seen some pretty smashed up bushes, admittedly in the rear, but still, they do go AFAIK.

jimny arms and coily are the same. the reason vits don't bend rear arms is beacause they are too short.

make them. its really easy and they are really strong. i made mine 1 meter long out of 1 inch shed 160 steam pipe. a rubber bush one end and a rod end on the other end. the pipe measures 33.4 od 20.7 id and 6.36 wall. thew will never twist or bend
