Yep, i had some brass bushes turned up, and made a new pin and it was like new. That was when I had the MK. Haven't had to do the GQ yet but they are the same so the bushes will still fit. Otherwise you can buy them genuine and I don't remeber the cost when & I originally bought them but I think about $80 about 5 year ago so god knows now.

The brass bushes is the go if you can get onto a lathe,....
If not and this is a RAG engineering fix.... get rid if the hinge pin and bushes and drill out both halves of the hinge to a size that is the same as the shaft/rod that you get.... then weld it in place !!! works for a couple of years but not really the "done thing".... good if ya selling the car but !!

i had it for a few mins when i was switching the doors on my truck with the ones on Ryans, i replaced the hinge on one side but on the other i placed a Jack under the door with a block of wood, ( while i had the door still bolted up ) and jacked the car up lightly on the door and it bent the hinge up just enough to fix the problem. Opens and closes like a dream still and i did it about 6 months ago.
cheers,
Screwy

Saggy doors yep and silent doormen that sound like you are smacking the door skin with a hammer. Haven't bothered fixing mine either.
Brass bushes sound like the go but i have thought of fitting GQ doors to take advantage of wing mirrors that dont shake so much
