hey
im havin a weird problem with my handbrake light. in my 1992 sierra soft top.
wen i corner hard to the left the handbrake light. i dont think it does it from a right turn. its only done it since the engine install, by hard turn i mean like 50 kms on a standard street corner.
i was thinkin that it could just b a bare wire somewhere cause the light still comes on wen i use the handbrake.

most cars are they have a float to warn you when the levels low which it could be around corners . Cant remember exactly if the sierra does from memory

theres a differnt light for normal brakes.
the wire to the handbrake light is located right next to the lever, its just a little push pull switch type, make sure then is working correcty.

The handbrake light is working correctly. when i use the handbrake. but it also comes on with left hand corners. thats y i was wondering if it could be a bare wire shorting out round the corners. cause i had the oil senser wire come off the old engine and it was doin the same thing.

pull it out and have a look, the wire travels under the drivers seat, inside the rocker panel and up past the front right speakers to the wiring loom.

hey
i checked it all out and lilzook and Luke_119 were correct. the brake fluid was just on the edge of the sensor. and the reason the light only can on in left turns is cause the sensor is on the left of the bowl. but i toped up the bowl and lights all gone now. thanks guys
