I have done a quick search, and while my question seems trivial I cant see how to remove the front parking lens in order to replace the blown globe. I have removed the screw at the top of the lens, which appears to screw into the headlight bracket as well, but the lens wont move. I have looked in the landcruiser owners manual (page 189) where it shows a picture of the one screw I removed and that sems to be all. Am I missing something obvious? thanks

Yeah they have a little clip just give it a pull in a foward direction. Did you read the manual or just look at the pic it may even state the same there

I've only got the owners manual that came with the vehicle. it has about 5 - 6 pages of instructions about headlight replacement, but just a picture for the parking lights. Obviously I didn't wont to use force and damage the lens when I may just be missing something. Reading your replies it seems as though it is the one screw and a bit of force.

thanks alot for the help. I've only just bought the vehicle so obviously didn't want to break it in the first week.
the hit with the palm of the hand helped (thanks dirty harry) and the diagram, particularly showing the locating pin helped once I had finished the globe replacement, (thanks crustybj60)
