Winch Solenoids - Are these any good

I know the Titan solenoids get a very good rap but there are now similar solenoids being sold on eBay at a considerable cheaper price. I would imagine they are Chinese made compared to UK.
Has anyone had experience with these and are the specs comparable to the Titan.

Have a look at this thread:

I'm sure tigerz11 might be interested in an OL group buy of these solenoids. Regardless of quality, i'm 99% sure he'll stand by us for warranty etc.

Intermitent duty to 400amp? A 4.6hp 12v Warn motor will draw 450 amps at max and a 6hp will draw 480 amps at max. What does a 6hp with 24v draw??????
If these are the same as the one that comes with the Superwinch etc and they definitely look the same, then they have normal solenoids inside. We pulled one apart to see how good they were and while they were good quality, there was no advantage to using a standard solenoid. ie same working design just inside a water proof box.
If the internal design is the same then the advantage is the waterproofing. I killed 2 solenoids and then shifted the solenoids inside out of the weather and haven't killed ANY since then. Take into account that these results are with 7.8hp motors and I use the standard Premier / Come Up solenoid.
Don't get me wrong, I have one of these (Superwinch type) on my other truck with standard motor etc due to being waterproof, just be sure about what you are getting.

Hope you guys don't mind me chipping in, but given that my livelihood (Titan Solenoids) is being mentioned I didn't think you'd mind, I just wanted to let you know that I would be happy to do you a group deal.
I've been a member on here for over four years and have tested and proven my product personally through several years of competition, many of you know me and the product, as for warranty I stand by it and if you have a drama you give me the old unit, I give you a new one, doesn't get much better than that for warranty.
I've sold around 500 of these units over the past few years and have had an approx 1% fail rate, so 5 out of 500 have had an issue, almost all were from the one batch unfortunately, shit happens sometimes, all were replaced without a drama.
You let me know the numbers and I will work the best deal I can for you.
Cheers, Paul

Ebay has a 'Buy it now' of $99 including postage so I'd say $99

I have heard nothing but praise about your solenoids but nothing about the above mentioned, other than the post by nzdarin.
If the price difference wasn’t excessive I would certainly (and others) buy the proven Titan.
Can you pm me what kind of numbers you need and pricing for a group buy.
Cheers

Hey guys just remember you get what you pay for. I"ve been running TITAN for a couple of years now,( the 1st one Berret's bought in ) doing winch challenges an OBC's and many other comps without a problem, just be carefull what you buy, cheap usually means it's poor quality some where.
