Outer Limits 4x4 Board

Has anyone own a GQ with 100% stable seats. Everyone i have driven in they are always flogged out. Nissan quoted me like 700 for new rails but i tihnk the whole seat frame/ seat is flogged. I have retapped the thread and it still has movement. DO you think it is possible to take the frame to a engineering place to rebuild or just bite the bullet and lash out on new stuff??? Anyone have any ideas or seats or frames in good nick they would like to sell??

there have been a few posts regarding gq seats, search thru the forums & it should help ya. I got some from a TI import that were in really good nick, but gq's are getting thin on the ground as far as import wrecks go.

Also usually ones in wreckers are left out in the yard with no glass in them, seats get shagged in the weather.

there was a thread on seats GTi Seats or Pulsar ones but you have to get them fitted as GQs have odd seat bases.

i might just try to get the frames tightened up somehow and seats re-cushioned.

What do wreckers want for seats.

I got prices to get my Paratus recovered, and it wasnt worth it in the end! HEaps of $100's.....

my seats are fine in my ute ... tho i have seen wobbley seats in them before ... and usually the owners are .... larger so to speak ...
i think its a common problem ...
