tailshaft spline

i got spoa and just extend my front diff about 28mm and need tailshaft spacer. how far in should the splines go into eachother?

rule of thumb for a tailshaft builder is to have 15mm hangining out under normal load.this may vary with your bumpstops etc.

so have it so i can see 15mm of spline. im weighting up my options what would be best to do
spacer or get the shaft lenghend?

if you put a spcer in, and damage the shaft at some point, u can always get hold of a standard shaft. if its custom it works out more expensive.

A tail shaft spacer increase the driveshaft angle very slightly - may not be a problem but make certain the uni's don't knuckle out at maximum droop.
