hello all what do u guys think of the 55 series is there much after market stuff around or is everything DIY with these ones?

what aftermarket stuff are you looking at? the drivetrain is the same as the 40 series, barwork was available for them when they were a bit newer, not sure about now. lift kits were available too, but you'd be better off getting the suspension sorted properly.

they aren't a bad wagon. they rust pretty badly, so make sure you check out any that you look at quite well. they suffer the same issues as the 40 series.

most 55's that are worth working on are commanding a premium these days because of the novelty/collector value. if your just after a cheap 4x4 wagon, a 60 series is better bang for your $
