Stock 80 series cruiser springs from a wrecker or someone with who has done a lift on an 80 will give about 3" to 4" lift. Spacers are too expensive!

yeh i have them in my lux (running your surf rear), do a search on google as i paid $40 for a pair for mine (TJM wanted $110 and arb didn't even want to try for a price)....
From memory i think they are 80series rear (front and rear are different), but they don't fit perfectly. You can run the stock 80 springs, but they are a fairly soft coil, (especially in the rear) and will definately sag if you carry weight.....

Tryed arb, they said $50 each and i wasn't keen. I just need an extra 30mm lift to help clear the 35s im about to put on. brad 93hilux you say the 80 series rear spacers aint a perfect fit, whats wrong about the fit? Like is it a matter of re shaping them slightly or what? Thanks

The outside diameter of the spacer is ok but the inside diameter is a bit big eg. the coil sits on the edge of the spacer, and in mine it slightly squashes the edges....
The ID should be a bit smaller...
They are better than nothing but...
I used them because we guessed what coils to run in my hilux, and they turned out to be too soft... Thus the spacers are just tempory for now.
Not sure i would want them in there for good...
