yes they are variable vane and proberly a bit big unless your shovin 15-20psi. you will need a controller for it. not sure who makes one.

navara 3 litre turbo would be a better, its a normal wastegated turbo.

you would need to run bit more boost and they may not be spooling up as early as you like i.e. higher in the rev range.

Can anyone tell me, and "COXY" might know more than most, but the factor turbo for a nissan (ht18 which is also fitted to mazda 12a rotary's and nissan rb motors), is there any difference?

I have seen that some rotary motors have a different exhaust flange, sort of offset and not T3 size.

Is one able to buy one of thse, and then, like the MTQ upgrade, is the tubine wheel at the intake and/or the exhaust side, able to be interchanged???

Just curious, as the Garrett BB are a better option, but the minister for war and finance and a tight fiscal policy at the moment, and we are not in surplus!

A lot of 12a rotor owners use the exhaust housing from the 12a turbo and then fit a high flowed series 5 compressor housing and wheel to it (had that setup in my 323 wagon). The s5 housing is the same as a small t04.

By the time you rebuild and setup these turbos you might as well have bought a t28 roller.

Thanks, I was thinking the same. I can get a roller bearing gt28 from US, thanks to our great dollar, for $500 delivered.
