Don't know about the cruiser, but a guy that comes into work uses it in his Dresser dozer (Cummins engine i think) and swears by it. He is very picky and sends oil samples away for testing every oil change. Results he was getting are saying its holding up better than the big name oils he was using before.

cheap as chips, but its what we use in our newly rebuilt engine on our buggy. for the price its great. even if it wasnt so cheap, it would still be tops

we use gulf at work.
run golf topdog in the bosses navara 3L turbo and his old mans GQ td42.

run gulf comp50 in our XD falcon drag car (500hp on the bottle)

one thing we did notice, is when we made the change from valvoline to gulf
every ones car burnt about 500ml of oil with the first sump full.
But from the second oil change on wards, feed back has been good and we've noticed no oil consumption issues.

my zuk has ben running gulf western for nearly 8 years now.... even after blowing one engine (warped head) everyone was amazed how clean the inside was, especially for a 15year old motor.

I'd say its pretty awesome myself... but im no mechanic =)

I use the Gulf Western Turbo LA in my HJ60. No issues. No oil loss over the 5000 km between changes. Flows out nicely when changing. :D

I saw a 70 series drivng around yesterday in Adelaide with a big "Gulf Western Oil" logo across the back and was wondering what it was all about. I can stil picture the sticker but can't remember if it was a trackback or a troopie.

Talk about coincidence - weird...
