motor with accessories weighs 450kg and im certain the gearbox and trans weigh more than 100kg. but around 550kg without accessories and oils woud be close.
the ls2 motors weigh like 300ish kg.

hmmm. don't know what is going on there. the scales i used were certified and were checked using our body weights. Obviously you had a few more bits strapped to it when it went on the scales, but not enough for another 100 odd kilos.
either way the TD 42 falls into the "very heavy" category given its standard power output. i thought it was heavy enough when i weighed it, but at your weights it is really serious. The cummins 5.9 is only about 1000lbs (or 450kg), which will give you 500hp in a daily driver. The duramax 6.6 is close to the TD42 (for when i weighed it) of around 700lbs.
