If you cut the springs mounts off and move them they will. They will move your diff back about 2'' and are heaps longer overall

The middie uses 75 series front springs and 60 series rear springs. That should get you started!

and with 2'' shackles in the front you can use 60/middy rears in the front too for a super long spring

Cool. What is a longer spring that could be put into the back?

For the rear, you can use 75/78 rears if you move mounts. IFS hilux rears are a little to long (tried them car went straight to the ground and shackle was on the chassis rail). IFS rears are ~90mm longer than stock and with a 2'' shackle thats just a bit to much, maybe ~50-70mm longer would be good. From what I can find there is nothing like that might have to get custom main and wrap leaves.

Here is mine with the same length springs front and rear. Can easily compress all the way up into the guard, and heaps more drop if my shocks didnt top out so easy.

Thanks for that info. So I am asuming that the 78/9 has the same problem as the ifs. So you need to move the mounts for both sets. Which is the longer out of the 2. Ifs or 75/ 8/9
Cheers.

All measurements are from front eye to pin to rear eye

Stock middy rears 565 645 =1210mm
IFS rears 569 725 =1310mm
76 wagon rears 615 1400 =1400mm
79 ute rears 690 815 =1505mm

some seriously long springs out there if your willing to cut and shut!

Shocks are an issue though, not sure how you will get longer ones under the back of a middy.
