I know it works on lifted rigs. Ive seen heaps of them done. Im not looking at lifting this though. Its not exactly an 80 seriesicrawl wrote:ask crankycruiser mate he might be able to give u an insite to it ,only his is lifted
They are just stock arms. Flipped upside down on the diff housing. So they go over the top of the housing instead of under the housing.gq2.8 wrote:anybody got any more info on these arms or pics thanx
Its a hilux not a stock height 80 series.75 cruser wrote:ask the profesor he has done this on his hilux
thanks rob
Its not on a custom modified Hilux.bj on roids wrote:have a look on a stock 80, there really isnt enough room there, on a custom and modified hilux there would be sufficient room
BTW
I have some 80 series front arms spare, you can test with
Thanks Andrew. What does it get close to on yours?dow50r wrote:Im guessing i would only just have enough room with 4 inch lift....the best thing it does is allow caster, the next best thing is it moves the diff forward, as the arms are more parallel with the ground....
well why are you asking then?RUFF wrote:Its not on a custom modified Hilux.bj on roids wrote:have a look on a stock 80, there really isnt enough room there, on a custom and modified hilux there would be sufficient room

dow50r wrote:The chassis mounted bump stops will get in the way...if you can get away without them, you would have a half descent chance of making it fit. I just had another good look under there, and it would be tight, but i think you could do it. Ive heard you can use caster plates as the new diff brackets with some modification to suit.
Because i dont want to test it. I just wanted to ask the question. Im never going to do it anyway. Ive never done anything else like this before so im not going to start nowbj on roids wrote:yes i read it, so go down there and test it on your stock 80 series
