$1200 per locker + compressor (I THINK around $800) fully fitted from ARB.

$800 dollars 2nd hand, but never used for one locker. Cant remember, I think about $700 for the other locker second hand. about $100 for the compressor second hand. $150 to fit one locker to the centre, fit the other one myself. Installed both centres and compressor myself, and made up my own wiring harness, and had to buy switches.
All up, cost me about $$1700 to $1800 dollars.
Well thats the way I went about it anyway, cost about half the price.

Just get a couple quotes and take what suits you.
Doesnt matter how much others paid, its what you can get them fitted for.

I don't think you can get an air locker installed for $1200, however the compressor from memory is more like around the $400 mark; $3200 drive in drive out both lockers is reasonable of not on the cheap side.

A little while back ARB were quoting that installed, not sure if it was a limited time thing. (As I said, no idea on the compressor as my truck already had one when I got it)

i would be sayinig soon the last i heard from head office was that they were revising how they made things and that some head dude was overseeing every part they make and making them better or something like that...

I know it did take bout 2 months for a new hilux one that we ordered

Hi,

a friend in Germany deals with 4x4 stuff and he buys the ARB-Lockers in USA.
It is cheaper then here in Australia - dont ask me why!?!?
But in USA you have to pay ~700 US$ for a Toyota Locker (RD23,RD132).

If i see the prices here even for used ones i think i will buy in USA too.

It's generally around $3-350 labour to fit a locker, plus the cost which is now in the $1200's. Plus compressor....

Oh you're in Penrith. Ring Chris or Ben at HiTech 4X4 Specialists and tell him what they quoted you and what it was for. If that above price is legit i'm sure he'll beat it, tell him I sent you ;)

0247 217 783 or drop in, they're up the far end of Coombes Drive (Hudson Hardware end)

if you have your air lockers fitted by an arb store, the warranty applies through all arb stockists, australia wide.
thats pretty good piece of mind.especially if you were to move to another state.
if you have them fitted through a tjm or any other 4x4 shop and have a warranty problem, you will have to take it back to the same shop.

all airlockers are made in australia.
i know what stockists pay for their lockers and do not believe you could by them cheaper in the USA.especially by the time you include freight, because they are bloody heavy.

arb stockists will sell airlockers to tjm and other 4x4 stores at dealer price,
how much they mark them up is up to them.

Yes its funny - but why are so many shops in USA selling them for ~700,-$ after they paid the freight from AUS to USA?

ARB wants 1219,-$ for each Locker.
If you need two of them, its over 1000,-$ difference.
And the freight isnt 1000,-$...
