SAS = Solid Axle Swap, others refer to it as doing an SFA (Solid Front Axle). I'd love to do it to my Jeep but the cost is soooo much.

what axle would you use? could you get one to match the rear? or would both need swapping??

I can't advice you on that, as the Mitsi is new to me. But I have to ask, why would you want to do it when you already have a combined 5" lift and running 35's?

If it were me, I'd not do it. I'd be looking for an old rig that you can build that's already got live axles front and back.

When I looked into doing it on my KJ I was told it would be around $15000 for the complete job.

true, but the reason is the angle of the driveshafts and wisebones,

a mate of mine who give his truck alot of stick is busting cv's all the time,

looking in to lowering the diff to help cv's but would be nice to lower the wisebones aswel

the kit from snake racing keeps the cvs basically straight drops everything down and comes with new hubs and few other things look up snake racing and look at there kit for the hilux it basicallly the same.
