Hi all,
I'm new to this forum so forgive me if I'm going over old ground, however my best efforts haven't found anything on this subject. Has anyone had problems with the steering linkage hitting the front shock during articulation? For your interest I have a LN106 with 2" lift springs and Rancho 9000 shocks.

This usually only happens if the arm is either bent or you have a hell of a lot of flex.

I have a LN106R and I did a 2" suspension lift.
The leafs hit the steering arm under compression.

I got the kit from West Coast suspension but I installed it my self.
I rang them up and asked what's going on it's ment to fit.

They said drive it in here and we'll take a look.
They put some heat on the arm and bent it out of the way.

It hasn't effected the steering at all.

Sorry that's not very technical I don't have my hilux book with me to look up the part names.

Thanks for your replies so far. I don't think the J arm is bent but I'll check against another lux to compare. This only started to occur with the new shocks, they're RS9115's and give me more travel than the OME's that were fitted. I have thought about shock hoops to push the shock out further at the top to give a little more clearance around the arm and then I could also invert them. However all the hoops I've seen require a body lift which I don't have nor want.
