Owing to our recent huge percentage increase in Isuzu people  , I thought it would be a good time to start an introduction section. Hope I'm not steppin on your toes by doing this dazz.
So who are you, where you from, what GMH/Isuzu have you got? Include a pic or two if you can...
Dazz, are you able to turn this into a sticky?
Howdy!

Not much mud round these parts at the moment, good 4wding, but getting harder for access.
Just means these hot summer days make my job as a Jet Ski tour guide that much harder!
Truck is no good off road (or on road either!!), torsion bars wound up too much so very little front end travel.
Dont want to pay to have it put right just yet, in a legal battle with the car dealer over it.
Just out of interest, those with lift kits, what brand are they, and do you find noticable improvement off road?

I guess I should check in too, most of you already know me though...
I've got a 99 Frontera S V6 with a 3" lift, 31 BFG AT's, ARB bar, IPF lights, Calmini intake and a few other bits. It gets used whenever i have the time and has a very bad history record with Holden for breaking parts. Most of my offroad team mates have Patrols so I'm somewhat under vehicled for where I try to go

wolf form perth WA
just purchased my second Jack today,
a 94 Monterey that is just soooo sweeeet!
sold the first jack, a 84 LS man' petrol that
was a good ole girl which was coming to the
end of her life due to the dreaded cancer,
too many heads, a couple a clutches etc etc.
She took me far 'n' wide, north and south.
10yrs of great hard working service, but she had to go
so we could get the new bitch home!
Looking forward to the next decade but this time in luxury,
and power too.
cheers

Hey!! my first post on these boards..... thanks to westoztrooper for pointing me here
My name is Tony, i live in Scone NSW... i drive a 1993 Rodeo 2.8 TD. Relatively new to the 4wd scene in a small car (ute) done a fair bit in fire trucks..... but they are totally different kettle of fish off-road
I'm still building my wish list for the vehicle.... 3" of lift is first on the list, then muddies, maybe a decent winch........ the rest of the list is longer than my arm, much to my wifes disgust

I put 31's on mine and it gives you a heap more clearance compared to the standard tyres.... you will probably have to wind your from torsion bars all the way up too.

Benjo here,

Got an MU 93 model. But nothing liek you've seen before, after a few months hard effort its nearly finished and have a lil bit more work to do. Standard engine (2.8tdsl) is oyutta there along with the old man transmission.
got rancho 9000x's on there, bout to do a max torsion bar crank and a leaf addin and reset on the rear. maybe some 33's if i can fit them in. anyone else put 33's on theirs yet?
this thing is going to be pumpin once its finished...

Hey utemad
If you want a locker, get one for the front. Then get your LSD wound up and save just a little on your tyres. I spoke to a diff reco guy, and he said that the LSD in a Deo can be wound up considerably higher than standard and will work almost like a locker with just a little give., for far less than a locker.

Thanks RoeDao.
I had intended to get a front. The rear LSD still works fine but the mod you mentioned is definately worth looking in to.
