Not really problem, just hassle. When stopping at lights, or whenever idling, the engine seems to idle as it does when the choke is engaged. But if i pump the accelerator it returns to normal revs, however every bling bling dude in Sydney thinks that i wanna race them. Any ideas would be appreciated.
btw its not diesel, so please, no Tonka piccys

just race them?
is it an automatic choke? idling high? if you poke the pedal the choke should disengage.

I have this problem on my shorty...
is yours on gas? apparently some of the cruisers have a problem on gas with the linkages on the carby when running on gas for some reason... just try and spray wd40 all around the linkages on the bottom of the carby and on the others that you can see that may work... according to the mechanic... otherwise i am going to have to try and oil it up a little hopefully the wd40 trick works tho as i cant be bothered with an oiling can.

Glen1n - What did you do to fix it?
I have a Manual choke, don't know if it has an auto choke aswell...
(2 Chokes - could that mean extra fuel when racing - ).
I have to stab my throttle to stop it aswell, I have sprayed half a can of carbie cleaner into and around my carbie to try and help it, I also have a lot of slack on my throttle cable, so I wouldn't think it is that, Maybe the carbie is buggered -
carbie damn, When are dellows going to make that Bell housing adapter for the 1UZ-fe to my 3F gearbox...
Anyways, Any help appreciated, and needed, --- thats why we unite as one???
