Thought some of you might want to see the progress of the new rangie. Had to rebuild as the old girl had more hit than elvis, the right rail is i inch back of the left.

For those that havn't heard I managed to jump,,yes JUMPED a skyline. hit the boot and didn't touch the roof, got about 6m of air time .. on the ashphelt.

Eveyone was ok just a bruise ego and some ammused cop's.

Got to watch the road they recon, guess so..

Changing the interior from 85 to 86 hi-line, the rear seat has been modified and in place, from elec windows and trims on, all the floors welded and sealed. Also lifted inner guards and cut rear door flares right up to upper lip. Have also lifted inner guards up to stop wheel rubbing.

Fitting the chassis extension boxes (prototype), these keep standard bar mounts however lift the bar 65mm from standard. Good for 2 and 3 in lifts, they are straight weld on parts.

Back under the dash, Fitting the fuel injection loom, electric windows, and all the gismo's. then rip the rest out.

You can see the R380T (lt230) levers petruding through the floor with the tunnel extention still off.

Rangee,

Check the "who wants 4 door flares" thread as I have put up photos of the flare conversion there
